Easy Pretzels

These are probably one of the easiest things I have ever made. You may be thinking that these need to spend hours rising, but there was absolutely no rising time. Yep, that's right. These rise right in the oven. And another plus, there are only six ingredients needed. So, get going! You're going to love these!

Easy Pretzels:

Ingredients:

2 teaspoons active yeast
1 cup warm water
3-4 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp or more salt
1 tsp or more sugar
1 egg
Directions:
Heat oven to 415 degrees and beat the egg in a bowl.
In a different bowl, combine the yeast and water. Stir and let sit for 5 minutes to "wake up the yeast."
Add the flour, sugar, and salt. Mix.
Take the dough out of the bowl and knead on a floured surface.
Divide dough into 1/2 or 1/3 cup portions. Roll each portion into a rope and create a pretzel shape.
Dip the pretzels into the beaten egg. This helps to get the outer crust of the pretzel crunchier. If you would like to add seasonings such cinnamon sugar or salt. Place the pretzels onto the pan and bake for 10 minutes or until golden.
